LIGHTBACK SILVER & LIGHTBACK CREAM dont ask, cause I rarely if ever have this combo for sale, yep its nice but I just dont make much of an effor to produce them any more. !

A sex-linked mutation often used to improve the color in Chestnut Flank Whites. In Grey, Fawn, and Black breasted and dilutes. Lightback Silver and Lightback Creams are perhaps the most striking of all zebras. See the book to convince yourself. These rare colors and sells very fast.

FAWN CHEEK and GREY CHEEKGood color- $25 each Better color-$35 each Best Size & Color $50 ea. (grey/black cheeks)

This is new mutation out of Europe which we first imported in 1991. The birds closely resemble Florida Fancies/Isabels, but Males have a darkerbreast bar an tear drop markings. The cheek patches occur on both cocks and hens. The cheek color in cocks varies from shades of orange-fawn to grey. The body is a silvery white to cream, The male's breast bar combined with unique body color make this mutation absolutely beautiful. It is a dominant so producing birds with large size is not difficult. Color is variable which accounts for the prices, Should Pair to Grey or Fawn, do not mate two of these together!!

BLACK BREASTED $60 per pair LARGER BIRDS $50 EACH THIS IS MY FAVORITE VARIETY BECAUSE I STARED AT PHOTOS OF THESE FOR YEARS BEFORE I IMPORTED THEM FROM EUROPE IN THE THE US. I RECALL DREAMING OF THE DAY I WOULD SEE THEM IN MY OWN AVIARIES. AMAZING BIRDS!!

Males can have a large breast bar and cheek patches are 2 times the normal size extending to the back of the head. Flanks GREY or FAWN are red to white with elongate white markings, rump and tail coverts $50 pair up to $50 eachcream. Beautiful and very different. Recessive mutation. Birds which are split for Black Breast are visibly recognizable. Females are similar to normal but lacks tear-drop and has distinctive white breast and rump. I am currently breeding this mutation in a variety of combinations listed below which are very attractive and priced differently.

WHITE ZEBRA (RARELY AVAILABLE BECAUSE I SIMPLY DONT TRY TO PRODUCE THIS VARIETY ANY LONGER. ) Bright white with no flecks of any kind. A solid white bird. Sexes told by beak color; males have coral red beaks, females pale orange beaks. Young emerge white with pink beaks. White is recessive.

BLACK-FACE $30, $45 each and up (Males!) Lge European males and females $60- $100 each

This is completely different from Black Breasted. Black Faced birds have the entire facial area and most of the breast and underparts black The flanking is often completely red with few if any white dots. The extremely black form of this is called the Blackbodied Zebra It has all black underparts. It is a dominant mutation, Many who see these birds find them the most striking of all of the zebras. They are also difficult to breed. I sometimes have Black-face that are visual splits for Orange-face.

BLACK BREASTED BLACK-FACE $75-100/each

(A combination of Black-face and Black Breasted These two mutations combine to produce males which are nearly black, with the extra large orange cheeks. This is one of the most striking of all zebra finches, Lots of black and orange. Very Slow to breed. Few available!

EUMO ZEBRA $150 - $300 per pair Price depends on color quality, splits for Eumo $100 -$150 per pair, VERY HIGH DEMAND, ALWAYS WAITING LIST.

I am having so much fun with this new color, I could scream, I love it sooo much!

A brand NEW mutation for the US and an extremely rare zebra finch everywhere even in Europe where it originated. I have been breeding this new zebra finch color for 6 years now and have some spectacular black birds but they are not the easiest to breed and extra care is needed young after they leave the nest. They can be absolutely beautiful but they do vary considerably.

BLACK CHEEK $40 each,, Splits for Black Cheek $20 -35 each Price reflects size and quality

Larger Show quality Black Cheeks Start at $50 up to $75 ea for exceptional birds

The Black Cheek Zebras is on of the newest Zebra mutation in the US. It also is the most unique. The cheek patches of males and females are glossy black, not orange. Even the flanking can be black with white dots! I still advise breeding a Black Cheek to a split and not 2 Black Cheeks, although I now some all Black Cheek pairs doing very well.

Black Cheek Lightbacks $50 to $75 each Some are HUGE, among the largest zebras you could find.

Black Cheek Black Face Zebras these are very black zebras $80

Black Cheek CFW is available, $60 -$ 75 each, nice large Continental CFW Black Cheeks
