All ofthe black markings are replaced with ORANGE PIGMENT Hence an orange breast bar and tail coverts of orange and black with white dots. This is one ofthe mostbeautiful mutations with endless possibilities for rare and unusual combinations. It is Recessive. Available in Grey and occasionally Fawn. Pairs consist of Orange Breasted male and a split to Orange female. Orange hens are uncommon.

ORANGE BREASTED BLACK BREASTED Beautiful males $150/pr. Splits $75/pair

This is acombination of OB & BB, sometimes called Orange Fronted, These showsthe most orange possible on a bird. The black areas are replaced with orange and the cheek patch is already larger than normal these birds virtually have a completely orange head and breast. This is a rare bird and I onlyhave a few available each year. Pairs consist of one beautiful Orange Fronted male and an appropriate split female. Orange Fronted hens are few in number.. ORANGE FACE = Black face X Orange Breast, very nice, with themost amount of orange color on any zebra. I am just beginning to breed these.

PHAEO ZEBRA $100 per pair and up to $140 per pair; Splits for Phaeo $60 and $75 per pair.

The Phaeo zebra was the rage of Europe only a few years ago. These zebras show extensive red color on a nearly white bird. The Phaeo is not a distinct mutation but a striking combination of the Black Breasted and Florida Fancy. Phaeos show the red features of a Black breasted on a white bird. No black pigment is present. Superb Phaeos have a complete orange head, average ones have extra large cheek patches. I find them difficult to breed, and the color is quite variable on males. Very Few available

TIMOR ZEBRA FINCHESALL SOLD NO LONGER KEEPING THIS TYPE OF ZEBRA FINCH

The Timor Zebra is a distinct subpecies of the Zebra Finch, occuring outside of Australia on the Timor Islands. Timor Zebras are very small, have a totally unique song and call, and the male is colored differently than the typical Zebra. A very nice and very tiny Zebra that is quite rare in aviculture.
