WHITE ZEBRA (RARELY AVAILABLE BECAUSE I SIMPLY DONT TRY TO PRODUCE THIS VARIETY ANY LONGER. ) Bright white with no flecks of any kind. A solid white bird. Sexes told by beak color; males have coral red beaks, females pale orange beaks. Young emerge white with pink beaks. White is recessive. This is completely different from Black Breasted. Black Faced birds have the entire facial area and most of the breast and underparts black The flanking is often completely red with few if any white dots. The extremely black form of this is called the Blackbodied Zebra It has all black underparts. It is a dominant mutation, Many who see these birds find them the most striking of all of the zebras. They are also difficult to breed. I sometimes have Black-face that are visual splits for Orange-face. BLACK BREASTED BLACK-FACE $75-100/each (A combination of Black-face and Black Breasted These two mutations combine to produce males which are nearly black, with the extra large orange cheeks. This is one of the most striking of all zebra finches, Lots of black and orange. Very Slow to breed. Few available! EUMO ZEBRA $40 up to $100 each depends on color quality, splits for Eumo $25 each, I am having so much fun with this new color, I could scream, I love it sooo much! A brand NEW mutation for the US and an extremely rare zebra finch everywhere even in Europe where it originated. I am just beginning to breed this new zebra finch color but they are breeding well and I like them very much, They can be absolutely beautiful but they do vary considerably. Also they are not easy to breed so production is slow but that will change as I set up more pairs.
